The group released two records in the late 1960s, Get Down With It & Mellow Moonlight. In 1971, several members of the original group reorganized as a five-piece band, under the shortened name King Midas. The band was composed of a guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, and a lead vocalist. The King Midas Band specialized in oldies, songs of the 50s-60s-70s. The music was well suited for many occasions targeted at the musical taste of 25 to 50 year olds.
